Hello!

Just a quick update to let you know that we have had to stop accepting registrations and donations for help with travel costs.

We have allocated most the money pledged to date but unfortunately, we have also run out of time to process any more. We cannot realistically issue tickets or refunds beyond tomorrow midday.

Almost 40% of the donations and 75% of the registrations have come in since Sunday 17th and we've simply run out of time to do any more. Sorry.

We have raised over £13,000 in total - thank you so much to our donors for their generosity! We will end up having sorted out between 280 & 290 registrations. Unfortunately there are a further 70 - 80 that we just couldn't get to. We hope that those of you who have missed out will find another way to get to the march.

IMPORTANT - our cut-off for payments is going to be up to and including reference 290. We think we are on top of the admin but if you have received a confirmation from us numbered 1 - 290 and haven't received either your ticket or your refund yet, please contact us ASAP at [email redacted].uk by 22:00 tomorrow, Friday 22nd March and we will sort you out.

If you have received a confirmation from us numbered 291 - 345, I'm afraid that we will not be able to assist you after all (as per our email dated 17th March). Sincere apologies.

If you have registered with us and not received a confirmation at all, it is because you were not in the first 345 registrations. Sincere apologies to you too.

Saturday's march is going to be massive!! We will make sure that Westminster wakes up and finally takes notice of the 47.6m British and Northern Irish people who didn't vote to leave the EU.

Thank you.

On 23rd March 2019, London will host the biggest pro-EU march the UK has ever seen.

Starting from Park Lane at 12:00, huge crowds will march to Parliament Square under the banner "PUT IT TO THE PEOPLE", demanding that Theresa May's EU withdrawal Agreement is put to a People's Vote, before a final decision on Brexit and the future of the country is made in Parliament.

We are a group of pro-EU campaigners from Leatherhead, Dorking, Cobham & Epsom in Surrey, who are very fortunate to live only an hour and £7.40 from the start of the march (we are, however, very unfortunate to have Sir Paul Beresford, Dominic Raab & Chris Grayling, as our MPs!).

You will have seen many of us at SODEM, the No.10 Vigil, on the "Is It Worth It?" bus, on previous marches, attending rallies and supporting the B@ll@cks to Brexit bus. You may also have  seen some of us on the telly!

We will be marching in London on 23rd March but since its easy and cheap for us to get there, we thought we would help others, who might find it more difficult than us, to get there too.

We are crowdfunding to raise money to support those who live further away from London and those who would otherwise find it difficult or too expensive to get to the march.

If, like us, it won't cost you a small fortune to get to London or you can't get to the march yourself (or if , unlike us, you have a small fortune of your own), please donate what you can to help us help others get to London on 23rd March.

We are asking for money  to be donated in the next 2-3 weeks for us to be able to offer free or subsidised rail travel to London for those who cant get to one of the many buses being laid on by Peoples's Vote campaigners across the country or who would find a trip to London for the march simply too expensive.  We expect the average cost  of helping people to travel by train to London to be around £30 per person.  The more money we can raise and the quicker we can raise it, the more people we can help get to the march.

Full details of our project are available on our website  www.getmetothemarch.co.uk Details are also available on our getmetothemarch Facebook page and on Twitter.  All donations will be used to provide free or subsidised rail tickets to people who register on our website before 20th March 2019.

Funds will be managed and administered by a small team of volunteers based in Mole Valley.  An anonymised but full list of donations and recipients will be published on our website by no later than 15th April 2019.  Any funds that are not allocated to helping people attend the march on 23rd March, will be donated to another pro-EU campaign group of our choice, for future use.

We need to make sure that as many people as possible are able to get to the march.  We need to show how much we all care about the future of our country and make sure that the People are given the final say on Brexit, before its too late.

Thank you for any amount that you are able to donate.
