Help Ray get a wheelchair accessible van

My Dad, Ray Millar was diagnosed as a Type I diabetic in his 20s.  Complications from diabetes caused him to have both of his legs amputated in the past year.  Dad also suffers from Sarcoidosis, stage 3 kidney failure, and congestive heart failure, which requires him to be oxygen dependent.   
In the past year we have done all we can on our own to make life easier for him.  Renovations were just completed on his house to enable him to get around, including adding new doorways and ramps.  Currently, it's almost impossible for him to leave the house.  The wheelchair is too heavy for my 71 year old Mom to lift in and out of their small sedan, and it requires a lot of physical effort for him to transition from the chair to the car and back.  He needs to go to medical appointments frequently and it is very hard to get him there.
My Dad is a retired school teacher, coach and mentor from Pomperaug High School and has spent his life helping others in every way possible.  He has been THE BEST father anyone could ever ask for and never missed any of our games or events growing up.  He continues to be an amazing "Poppy" to his 8 grandchildren and prides himself on attending their events as well.  Unfortunately due to the circumstances he has been missing out on almost everything since his surgeries due to the transportation problem.  
We have found a wheelchair accessible van for him but due to all of the medical bills and other costs associated with the new disability, money is a huge problem.   Please, if you are able, consider donating to my Dad so he can enjoy his family and leave his house to get to his doctors' appointments.  Thank you!
