Get Terris to NY Fashion Week!!!!

For the past few years I've been one of a small group of artists invited to work with young people in the 7th, 8th and 9th ward communities of New Orleans. With resourcefulness and the help of supporters, we've created free art workshops in music recording, sculpture and installation, and fashion design. In addition to providing arenas for expression, these workshops offer a safe space to create and promote the work of young adults that have way too many hurdles to dodge. I'm happy to say that they've been hugely successful
In December, we put together a fashion show for a young New Orleans designer, Terris Zakar. With my documentation, he was accepted to NY Fashion Week!! This is huge for him and I want to do everything in my power to help him get here.

- He needs $1,800 by January 18th for his entry fee!

- He NOW needs $5,200 to produce his runway line purchase airplane tickets, pay three stylist and assitants and rent accommodations for five days.
