Get Masks for Berkeley's Homeless

Donation protected
With Bay Area air quality getting even worse than anticipated due to the Camp Fire, with a recorded air quality index of 201 on Wednesday evening (which is in the "very unhealthy" range), there is a serious lack of support for Berkeley's homeless population who spend a majority of their time breathing the polluted air.  To put this into perspective, it has been reported that spending a day in this smoke is equivalent to smoking half a pack of cigarettes.

Please consider donating so that we can provide masks to those in need. Every donation helps, no matter how small. We will use donations to purchase n95 masks and distribute them to the Berkeley's homeless population. Any remaining funds will go towards homelessness advocacy and support groups and aid in Berkeley's upcoming Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
