Get MAKENSHI to Bronycon 2019
Makenshi, for years, has been one of the most avid supporters of the brony music scene and you could figure that out by scrolling down to the comments of almost any brony song with more than 30 views! He is also the video editor and current head of Cider Party, the fandom’s biggest music promotion channel, and Rock Farm. Additionally, he is one of the lead members and writers for the only active blog totally dedicated to pony music, Horse Music Herald.
Long story short, he contributes a remarkable amount to the brony fandom and never asks for anything in return (in fact, he was overwhelmingly humbled by this campaign’s very existence). However, while he’s not in dire straits or an abusive household, he is currently without work, lives in France, and has never been to a pony convention before.
So let’s make a brony’s dreams come true!
Our goal is to finally give Makenshi the pony convention experience he’s dreamed of for years, and what better opportunity to do so than the final BronyCon in 2019? It’d be all the donors’ “thank you” for all the promotion, feedback, collaboration, and work Makenshi has put into exposing others to hundreds of musician over the years.
Breaking it down, the $1600 in the goal will specifically go to:
$75 for a basic BronyCon 4-day badge (plus fees)
$200 for a roomshare at a hotel at the Inner Harbor
$150 for a round-trip ticket from Makenshi’s local train station to/from CDG airport in Paris
About $1,075 for a round-trip from Paris to Baltimore
$100 for food Friends of Makenshi’s have already agreed to have him picked up/dropped off at BWI
Any money, if any, raised in excess of the goal will go towards Makenshi buying merch at BronyCon (vendor hall, etc.) or exploring/sightseeing in Baltimore.
