Jumpz is a small club based on Northampton, UK!
The club does not have a fully equipped gym, they train in a school sports hall 4 days a week and hire out a gym once a month for 2 hours, so the competition squad can use equipment such as bars!
The gymnasts work exceptionally hard, which shows by the amount of medals they win at regional and national competitions in the UK. Last year 11 gymnasts travelled to worlds in Florida and they all did amazingly, bringing back medals including a 5th place on vault, 6th on floor AND a first place world champion medal on floor!!! These results show just how hard the gymnasts and coaches work.
They compete against girls who train more hours and on equipment daily and still win!!!
once again this year we have all 18 of our IAIGC gymnasts qualified!!
The cost for for this trip is immense. As we are a small club without any funding from government or sports bodies, this cost falls on parents to pay!
These girls deserve to compete on the world stage again this year!
