Hello,
My name is Gwendalyn Gibson, and I am from Ramona, Ca. Although I have only been riding and racing mountain bikes for four years, it has quickly become one of the most impactful parts of my life. I have been the NICA California state champion for the past three years in a row, and after winning USA National Championships in 2016, a fire was lit inside me.
Since then, I have signed to ride for Norco Bicycles, who have been a huge part of my journey as a cyclist, and have gone on to win multiple UCI races in the USA and Canada, and I even took home two top three finishes in Europe this year.
Because of these accomplishments and the incredible support from my family, friends, and sponsors, I was selected by the USA cycling team to represent America at the UCI World Championships in Australia this September.
Unfortunately, the cost of a round trip plane ticket and shipping a bike is a little too steep for someone also starting college at the same time. So, any support in helping to aleviate some of the costs of going would be greatly appreciated.
