Get Drew to U24 Worlds in Australia

Donation protected
Have you met Drew Wilson?
You have likely seen him around playing ulti with PUL or DUC.  He's a local athlete living in Lindsay, going to school in Durham, and spending time playing, teaching, coaching ultimate whenever he can.

In January 2018, Drew has  an incredible opportunity to represent Team Canada at the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Perth, Australia playing on the U24 Mixed Team.

Drew has been playing Ultimate competitively for 3 years, first touring with STUD, a junior team out of the Durham Region.  He then went on to play for Toro and won a silver medal at the 2016 Canadian Ultimate Championships in the Junior Open Division.  In 2017, Drew played with the Durham region mixed team 'Backdraft' while coaching the Durham Open team STUD.

In 2017 Drew also applied to play for Team Canada and was invited to tryout in Montreal.  Being 20 trying out in a U24 division, he was one of the younger players at the tryout. The off-season training paid off and Drew has been invited to go to Australia to represent Team Canada at the World Junior Ultimate Championship.

This is an incredibly opportunity!  With that said, it is very expensive to fly to Austrailia to play. Drew is a full time student, studying Police Foundations at Durham College, and working part time to off-set the costs of the tournament.  Some of his costs include airfare, athlete and team fees, uniforms, accomodation ....

Help Drew get to Australia to represent Canada!!  Any size of donation will help:)

Thank you!  We can't wait to see Drew crush on the World stage!
