Get Deshae To Texas (Fight Cancer)

Hello, My name is Jacquinn Penson. I am a mother of four children. I have two girls and two boys. Tragically my oldest son was murdered in August of 2012. Me and family are still healing from my sons death. Unfortunately my youngest son Deshae Penson was diagnosed in October 2016 with stage 4 Renal medullary carcinoma. This is an aggressive rare kidney cancer found in young black adults who usually have the sickle cell trait. Only a few hundreds of people in the United States have be diagnosed with this awful cancer. I found a doctor in Texas at the MD Anderson Cancer Center whom is very educated on this cancer. We’ve made two attempts to fly myself and my son through commercial flights to Houston Texas so he can receive the proper treatment. Both times we were faced with obstacles that stopped us in our path. This last time my son lost consciousness and stopped breathing. We had him rushed to our local emergency room, where he is currently in CCU on life support. My son is only 22 years old. He’s a wonderful young man. He was going to a community college taking up a business trade as well as working as a security guard. My son has the will to live. I believe in faith and prayer. My husband’s insurance will not cover the medical flight he needs now being that he is on various machines. We have to come up with $18,000.00 to get him from Orlando, FL to Houston, Texas. Time is of the essence. This cancer has become a ongoing nightmare for myself as a mother and for my family. Anything you all may donate will help.
