Jorgies Buddies limestone way walk

Donation protected
Gerald Cooney  is a supporter of Jorgies Buddies and has chosen the fund to benefit from any money raised through his charity walk , The Limestone Way, which he takes part in to raise finds for different charities  is a walk between Rocester in Staffordshire and Castleton in north Derbyshire. During its course northwards it covers the majority of the limestone landscape of the White Peak.

It was originally opened in a Matlock to Castleton configuration, and was extended in 1992 southwards to Rocester, with branches serving Matlock and Ashbourne.
This is his story ,
I did this walk in two stages (the stretch from Matlock to Castleton first, and the southern leg afterwards), and that it was one of the first trails that I did, and thus it is not as well commented as I would have liked. I would like to redo this walk sometime, and go into more detail about it.
My son Finlay and I will do the walk on the August Bank Holiday weekend 2017 and will be donating any  money raised to Jorgies Buddies which is a fundraising group that raises money to purchase Be Brave Bears for children that have life limiting or life threatening conditions or serious illnesses , these bears give so much comfort to the children , any donation will be greatly recieved  and we at Jorgies Buddies are so greatful that Gerald and Finlay have  chosen to donate to the Buddies fund
