Geri Johnson Funeral & Baby Amelia Care

Geri Danielle Bays Gambrel Johnson passed away on March 16th as the result of a gunshot wound.  She was pregnant with baby Amelia Jo.  Upon arrival to Baptist Regional Medical Center,  Amelia was delivered via c-section and transferred to The University of Kentucky NICU where she remains in critical condition.   Kentucky State Police are currently investigating the shooting and have yet to provide any information.  Geri is the daughter of Sandra Terrell Bowman and the late Jerry Bays.  Geri has no life insurance.  The funeral cost and care for Amelia Jo will fall to her mother.   Several people had asked that this account be set up as a way for them to make contributions to Sandy.    This account does charge a fee for services.   Anyone who lives locally can make a donation directly to Croley Funeral Home or contact me via Facebook.   Thank you for the prayers as prayers for Amelia’s health and strength for Sandy, Geri’s boys, and her family to cope through this horrible tragedy.
