Gerardo's Emergency: Pace Maker

I found out recently (through family and friends in Mexico) that Gerardo was taken to the hospital in Mexico City last week to have a pace maker installed. I understand he is home now and doing well.

The cost of the surgery which he/his family will now have to pay is approximately $10,000.00 (Canadian dollars). We are so fortunate here in Canada that we don't have to bear the cost of health care in the same way that the people in Mexico do.

Donating towards the cost of the surgery is something that we, his friends in Canada, can now do so that he can heal and recover from his surgery without additional stress. It would be one way of wishing him well and letting him know that we care....
