George is a very loyal, kindhearted, selfless, geniune man.  He has a big heart and is a friend for life.  George is hardworking and will always go above and beyond for his family and friends.  His wife and children are his everything.  He is the most amazing husband and father. George has been a big advocate with youth sports.  He coached Little League and Hollister Heat for numerous years when his children were young.  To ensure that his children had the means to attend State Universities, he took a part time weekend job for 17 years.  Currently, he is an umpire for multiple youth baseball organizations.

On April 20, 2018, George went to the hospital with the thought of possible gallstones all to find out after numerous tests he was dignosed with pancreatic cancer.  George along with his wife and children are preparing for the biggest fight of his life.  He will be having another procedure done this week which will determine if surgery is an option.  At that time, we will have a recommended treatment plan.

With the support and love from family and friends, we can help him get through this difficult time.  I am asking for donations to make this heavy load  of doctor's appointments, co-pays, deductibles, insurance preimums and the loss of income be less of a burden to the family so their main focus can be George.

George has always gone out of his way for others with a huge smile on his face and has never asked for anything in return,  it is now our time to give back to him.   Most importantly,  please keep George and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hello everyone today is 6-17-19 it’s been a bumpy road this last month but we have faith things are gonna be getting a little better soon. The last few days George has been able to get a good nights sleep. Up until 3 days ago his back pain was pretty severe. Although he would say he was fine the pain was so bad he could not sleep and the pain medication he was taking would make him itch so bad they were not worth taking. Today would have been his last day of radiation but due to the complications of inflammation, he was placed on steroids for a few days and the radiation team needed to figure out a new plan. This week he will have radiation on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. After two treatments the pain has decreased and is now tolerable. (Praise God) The plan for the rest of the week is to get the radiation treatments complete and hope that this helps with stopping the internal bleeding and shrink the tumor away from the stent.... where it is currently attached. After this week we will know more and the plan as of now is to start chemo therapy along with immune therapy up at UCSF on July 8th for a minimum of 6 months.

One of the biggest struggles has been trying to keep the weight on. George has lost over 50 lbs now. We are praying now that his pain has gotten better his appetite will increase. For now 6 to 8 small meals and lots of rest is the key.

Thank you to you all for your love, support, and prayers. We truly don’t know how we could do this with out all of you and of course the grace of god. We will keep you posted on this weeks progress.

George was able to enjoy his fathers day weekend with his family and we are looking forward to the next couple of weeks where we will be surrounded by our closest friends and family.... I am sure there will be lots of smiles and of course tears as we have to lay my mom to rest in the mix of it all. We are focusing on know she is at rest and rejoicing in heaven and we will celebrate in her honor with family and friends.

Again thank you for all the prayers and love. Feel free to call or text George anytime. He loves hearing from you all and is actually free to go for rides or out for lunch or breakfast anytime. Anything we can do to keep the pounds on him is greatly appreciated. #teamgeorge #NoOneFightsAlone

Hello everyone today is 5-6-2019 it’s been a while since I’ve have been able to update because we really did not have a plan for George’s next plan of attack. This weekend was a rough one. He has been hospitalized since Friday and had to have another ERCP surgical procedure. His stent was backed up and he developed an infection in his blood. We are told
Tomorrow he will be released.

As of now, the next plan is to start a clinical trial at UCSF. It will run for 26 weeks. We will be required to stay in San Francisco for at least 1 day per week~ during that time George will continue to be disabled so he has started the whole social security process which we are
Praying does not take months. His team of doctors think that this is the best plan for now and will continue to work together to make sure it continues to be the best path for George. We are so blessed to have a great team that works together #teamwork

It was a year on April 21st since George’s diagnosis and the doctors are amazed at how well George is doing and looks.... we owe a lot of that to all of you... our prayer warriorsand of course George’s positive attitude and faith in god and his plan.

We love and appreciate each and everyone of you! Like I have said before.... please feel free to call, text or come by and take George for a ride.
He loves to get out and have good conversation and laughs. #teamgeorge #NoOneFightAlone
