Eugene Hernandez Funeral Fund

This GoFundMe was generated to help my brother Geno (Eugene Hernandez Jr).  Geno on May 8 went thru a total stomach, esophagus reconstruction surgery. This was due to a Hiatus Hernia surgery that was done incorrectly and did damage to him several years ago, and then re done... and done again... four times.  It resulted in Genos stomach being disconnected from the esophagus resulting in every time he ate portions of his food was not going into his stomach but absorbing into his body, poisoning him.  According to his surgeon this was the worse case of a Hiatus Hernia surgery to have every gone wrong in the country.  
My brother has been ill for years.  Unable to eat normally because every time he did it was painful and he would becom e sick.  Geno has been receiving SS Disability.  Due to the amount of time he has been at St. Francis, he won't receive his check this coming month. Being penalized because he is NOT AT HOME but in the hospital.  Geno lives a meager life.  He owns a little trailer in Kewanee Illinois.  He won't be able to pay his lot rent, his utilities, his water bill... If he does NOT pay his lot rent... The landlord could and would confiscate his trailer.  
Most people know that I personally have gone thru a tragedy of losing my child and I have taken on the responsibility of raising her children.  Not once Have I asked for help in funeral expenses or care for her children.  So for me to reach out now, you must know that my brother is in trouble.
Geno is a contrary, complaining at times agitated individual.  He has survived getting shot, losing his wife from a tragic fall.  We all think Geno is invincible.  He is not.  Yesterday i left a brother who was sick, stressed out... in pain and worried about how he needs to get home to receive a small disability check so he can pay his lot rent.
I told him to please trust me and to just try to heal.
