Gearhogs Robotics FRC #3612

We are Gearhogs Robotics FRC #3612, a FIRST® Robotics Competition team based in NorthWest Arkansas. Our competitions consist of a new challenge each year, where we have to design, build, test, and ship our robot all in just six weeks. The thing in which makes us special is the same that hurts us the most for funding, and that is our people. Unlike most teams where all of their students are usually from the same school, were not that way. Even though this does hurt our team financially we'd have it no other way. We can have students that are in 9th-12th grade from schools that do not offer a FIRST robotics program, kids, who are homeschooled, and anyone who wants to further their education and share their love for STEM with people alike. The entry fee for a single one of our competition tournaments is $5,000 dollars alone plus the additional $4000 that it usually costs for us to build our robot each year. Any funding we receive will go directly to our team to help cover our operating costs and continuing the education of our Gearhogs Family.
