Hi! This is Gerome and David of G&D Blog .
We're a gay married couple who share our stories online, which started last January of this year. We decided to start a blog even though we had no idea of how it works.
The only reason we started blogging is because we wanted to do more traveling together, share our photos and our crazy stories, meet and greet people, and most of all, TO HELP PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED.
Helping people who are in need is what we're really looking forward to doing.
So, I made up this hashtag #GDBlogHelps, to start spreading the word from the world wide web.
And for our first step, we are collaborating with "Make A Change PH" in the Philippines. A friend of mine is the creator of this small organization which started in 2015.
She invited her friends from a group of mountain hikers and they trekked into small villages in some provinces in the Philippines and gave some relief packages- this small act became bigger and bigger 'till the word had been spread out.
We're planning to do this first project in December, Christmas season. And we're starting just from a small amount for now that we can use for this outreach program.
Your help will absolutely make a difference. I remember last year, my husband and I gave $80 to my friend as our donation (yes, I know it's kinda' small), but it made 8-10 children smile when this group gave them bags of goodies, from food to school supplies, medicines and clothes.
