Gold Coast Hip-Hop Festival

Hey everybody, The Gold Coast Hip-Hop Festival is about expressing all the elements of Hip-Hop this includes: Rappers, DJ’s, Break-dancers, Graffiti artists, beat boxers and more as a reflection of Hip-Hop culture in the society. This is a great opportunity for all of the Hip-Hop community to come together locally, nationally and from all around the World to display their talent on the Gold Coast. This event is going to support the campaigns for mental awareness, depression and domestic violence.

TIME:
-       The event will begin annually from 2018. 
-       The event is going to last 12 hours from 12 pm to 12 am and the first 6 hours will be an all ages event.

LOCATION:
-       Located at the Spit, Doug Jennings Park, Gold Coast, in QLD, AUSTRALIA.

IDEA:
The idea of the Hip-Hop festival is a great marketing opportunity for all artists to express their talents and for companies and campaigns to support their talents while exposing their mission. Many people will be gathered together on this day to show their love for Hip-Hop. This event will have many known artist and many independent artists from a range of backgrounds to make the image of Hip-Hop stronger. This event can also help further our knowledge and support those in need, those going through difficult circumstances that can turn to creativity as an outlet. On the day there will be a round robin dance competition individually and with teams as well as rap battles these all will be judged by the crowds. This event will help support those in dire times and there will be speeches to expose the awareness of our issues from the youth to young adults and adults that the community is here to help and creativity can help.  

PURPOSE

Influence and express the love of Hip-Hop culture throughout the community and exposing the awareness of our issues in society.

MISSION

Conveying the musical, artistic and creative capacity with the awareness of negative developments in the society assisted to the local community continually to gain recognition of our problems and find solutions for them.

MEANS

By hosting an annual Hip-Hop Festival, artists internationally and nationally will perform and showcase their work in the community to all those who have interest. This will spread word in the community what we can do to make people aware of our problems and how we can fix them.

FUNDS:
All funds will go to the set up of the festival such as; equipment and workers. The sooner the money is accumulated will help the festival begin to advance with the event. All proceeds will help the event take place and any support will also be helpful and appreciated.
