Funds For Food & New Water Bottles!

We are a large scale rescue, caring for around 135 to 185 guinea pigs at any one time. Several weeks ago we took in thirty-seven rescues who came all the way down from Maryborough in northern Qld. All were malnourished and needed treatment for mange mites, with some also having a fungal skin condition. Sadly four died shortly after their arrival. The remainder are thriving and to date, fourteen of the females have presented us with litters of two to four babies. There are two still to give birth which will send our numbers soaring to over 220. This is putting quite a toll on our finances and we are asking for your help to get a bit of cash in the kitty to cover food costs over the coming months, and to enable us to purchase 1ml syringes and new water bottles. We also need to update some of our older cages.

The shelter is totally self funded and we rely on product and food sales, adoption, surrender and boarding fees, and your generosity to keep us going.
