The Griffin Ballet Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the community by developing a deeper appreciation of ballet and other forms of dance. We provide an opportunity for talented young dancers to work and perform in a professional atmosphere, and perform as a company to present high quality performances to our entire region.
We also have developed a tremendous outreach program that touches the lives of several thousand school age children each year, most of which would never have that type of exposure to the arts without Griffin Ballet Theatre. This past year, we exposed over 4,000 local children to the arts through this outreach program. Veiw our website here .
We have been performing for over 20 years in the Griffin GA area, with some of our costumes dating back to the beginning! We have continued to grown over the years from 20 dancers to over 50 dancers in our Spring 2017 performance, and over 100 participants in our Annual Nutcracker performances.
Many of our custumes show the signs of the 20+ years, but are patched together through many, many hours of volunteer sewers bringing these pieces back to life again and again.
We are in desperate need of some new costumes, and ask for your help. We as you can imagine with a non-profit organization, are very very conscious of price and value, and only spend money when it is absolutely needed! We have reached that time, it is absolutely needed!
Please help us continue to bring the Arts to our town of Griffin GA and to our community by donating ANY amount to our Costume World. Every penny of this effort will be earmarked DIRECTLY for the purpose of buying and repairing costumes for our dancers.
