Green Bay Storm Baseball

This gofundme page is to help the Green Bay Storm Amateur Baseball program continue.  The program was started 14 years ago to allow young men who come from our area or play on local college teams the opportunity to compete in their favorite sport after their High School and Legion time is over.  The program has allowed hundreds of young men this opportunity over the years.  Most players are in college and this program allows them the opportunity to enhance their skills in the off season.  It is the only program in the Green Bay area that has focused on local talent.  Without this program they may have to relinquish their dreams and desires to continue playing the sport they love. Some players coming through the program have reached goals of playing at an upper level, such as semi-professional programs.  Some of these players have been apart of championship teams through out the seasons. Dreams are still alive when team success is a possibility. Being the General Manager I have seen revenues for the program  diminish over the years, basically because we are unable to charge an admission to games because of the location of the field we play on.  Costs have escalated so much that we are on the verge of having to shut down our program.  Field, umpire, baseballs and equipment costs have increased to a point that we have almost used up all the capital we have.  We need to rebuild our saving account in order to continue. We ask you to help us fund this program in order to keep amateur baseball alive in the Green Bay area for these young men to continue to play this wonderful game. The season is almost upon us so the need is now.  The donations we receive will only enhance the opportunities for these young men to continue to grow as young men and baseball players.  It has been a wonderful 14 years, please don't let this program die.
