GBBC Community Bike Shop

The Green Bay Bicycle Collective (GBBC) is a non-profit bike group made up of cyclists and advocates. Our mission is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation, through education, encouragement, and advocacy, thus creating a safe, healthy, community-based bike culture.
The GBBC has been given an amazing opportunity to open up our very own volunteer run Community Bike Shop. The City of Green Bay has provided us with a start up space on 4th and Broadway and now we need to do the rest!
We need your help with start up funding to fix up the building, pay for insurance, monthly utilities (gas, water, electric), a first aid station, certification for our volunteers, a safe, lockers, safety glasses, benches, bike stands, tools, bike hooks, etc.
GBBC would like to get the bike shop up and running as soon as we can so the entire community can start benefiting from it!
Please consider making a donation today!
Once we are up and running we are going to be selling used bikes, bike parts, etc. to help cover future costs and help sustain the shop.
We will offer bike safety courses and refurbished bikes for children through our Earn-A-Bike program and encourage mobility by hosting community rides and events.
This space will be a huge asset to our entire community.
We will be helping revitalize an empty and blighted property in the neighborhood and filling a community need by creating a safe and free space for people to be able to work on bicycles.
If you can't donate any money maybe you can help us with the actual tools or product. Anything you can do is appreciated!
There is a wishlist on our webpage http://www.gbbicycle.org/
