We recognized boycotting Coachella wouldn’t be the best use of our voices (and dollars) so we are taking a note out of LA WEEKLY’s handbook and making this THE GAYEST COACHELLA EVER.
The $594,000 goal of this campaign represents $1 per day for every attendee during the six days at the festival. *Goldenvoice estimated 99K people attended per day in 2016
This one goes out to all the LGBTQ kids, their allies, environmentally friendly people and pretty much anyone who is appalled by the Philip Anschutz/AEG situation.
Your donation will be split three ways between the Human Rights Campaign, The Trevor Project and the Sierra Club.
We, the group organizers, have pledged to put back money each week leading up to the festival with the intention on sending our donations directly to these three organizations on the first day of the festival in Philip Anschutz’s honor.
We will keep you updated on other ways we plan to make this year’s festival the GAYEST COACHELLA EVER, thank you!
