Gavin Rowe is an 11 year old boy in Orange County, CA - just like our kids... Except one thing - CANCER.
3 times in 11 short years, the Rowe family has had to hear words that no human wants to hear. Words that generate more feelings and emotions than I can even fathom. acute lymphoblastic leukemia...Gavin Rowe - this 11 year old little league ballplayer... 3 times... The reality of this round is Gavins better understanding of what his life will be like through treatment AND a potential need of a bone marrow transplant.
Gavin has relapsed twice since his initial diagnosis, at just 4 years old. He and his family are in for their 3rd round of life upside down - but with a VILLAGE behind them. The Rowes have not asked for money - but they need it, and they need it now. And this village wants to make sure their only concern is their 2 beautiful, amazing, funloving children. The Rowes are pilars in their community and beyond. Chris has coached youth sports for 6 years, through all of this. Kim is an elementary school teacher, that loves every kid like her own. Her school was the first call she made after the news of relapse #2. Mia - the most amazing little sister any kid could have - and one of Gavins biggest fans. The community is rallying behind them, but we've got to be real and know that money is a need. Please donate what you can to help this topic NOT be a factor in the progression of Gavins road to remission. The family has to be open to traveling out of state, being out of work and trying any reasonable option at this point. All of this requires much needed funds.
