Help 10yr old Gary Sinaga Bintan Is

In January, my wife Brigitte and I were on holiday in Bintan Island, Indonesia. We were there for some R & R however we recieved much more than we expected.
Within the resort that we were staying at, a particular concierge (we'll call him "H" Sinaga) made us feel most welcome and looked after.
On our 2nd last day, we decided to go on a tour of the local island with "H" as our guide. We enjoyed our conversations throughout our tour discussing everything from family, politics, travel, business and more. When talking about family, he mentioned we were only 15 minutes from his home.
We asked if he'd like to go home and surprise his wife and 4 sons. He had never been asked to do this before.
"Why would you want to come to my village or my home?" he asked.
Our response... "Because we are interested in you and your life and your community. We don't need to be doing boat tours, other commercial sight seeing things... We prefer the "real things" in life"...
He smiled and said "I think my wife will be upset with me but let's go!". and we did...
We were introduced to his lovely wife and 3 of his 4 sons. The eldest is in junior high school and wishes to become a policeman in the future.
However, this story revolves around his 2nd son, Gherry.
In Novemvber 2016, Gherry was involved in an horrific motorbike accident as the passenger. As a result he had a complete break of his femur on his left leg and has had 3 operations to repair the damage done with a 4th in the next couple of months.
Throughout the ordeal the family "H" and his wife were seperated from the other 3 children whom were being looked after by neighbours and their community as all immediate family live in other countries.
From our experience with the Sinaga family and their hospitality, seeing the love and his humility within the family home and his community, we have decided to see if we can help get this family back on track and Gherry back to full health.
"H" earns the equivalent of $260 Aud per month.
With that income he sustains his household, his mortgage, education, his motorbike loan and associated expenses, as well as covering all the ongoing medical expenses for Gherry.
The figure being requested is the equivalent of 5 years wages for this family. This amount will change their lives.
This fund will effect the Sinaga family's community at large and I know that the help recieved will be beneficial for all that "H", his family and especially Gary's recovery.
