Ashley Ray's Gallbladder Surgery Medical Fund

This past April, while traveling for work, I started experiencing really bad chest pains. I went to the ER and was told I needed emergency surgery to have my gallbladder removed since it was incredibly infected (when they took it out, they took the picture above because the doctor said it was the worst one he'd ever seen). It turned out this had actually been the cause of many medical issues I'd been facing for a few months and was the cause of another ER trip I had to take last October and a misdiagnosis from another doctor.

Anyway, they took the gallbladder out, properly diagnosed me and sent me on my way. 6 months of testing, misdiagnoses and surgery led to a cost of $121,000. Even with insurance, I still have to cover ~$20k. Even with payment plans, my income and savings, there's still ~$10k I need to pay in the near future. I even got two secondary jobs (content writing and working at a gym) over this time to pay for the costs, but had to quit them because it was impossible to deal with my illness, surgery, my main job and two other jobs that were physically demanding/heavy on deadlines. This is also hard to pay for since my job recently transferred me to California, so I had to spend money on moving and getting a car this month. I am now happy, healthy and facing a horrifying mountain of debt.

So, I've come here to Gofundme to ask for help because the idea of facing this alone is overwhelming. Also, the hospital actually recommended this because this is basically modern healthcare in America. If you know me, you know that I'm a hardworker who has multiple jobs and would do this myself if I could.
