Sanjay's trip to Galapagos Islands & Machu Picchu

Hi! My name is Sanjay, and I am a Year 9 student at Melbourne High School. I have been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Galapagos, Ecuador, and Peru, organized by Antipodeans. This adventure will allow me to immerse in the unique culture and traditions of Ecuador and Peru and explore the scientific biodiversity of the Galapagos Islands.
As a child, I have always been interested in Science and Travelling. The chance to view the amazing scenery at Machu Picchu has always been my dream and learning about the unique wildlife in the Charles Darwin Station and the Galapagos Islands will broaden my interests and knowledge.
In order to make this trip possible, I am seeking to raise $4600 to cover the shortfall. The full cost for the trip is $8990, but I have already saved about $1000 through competition money and pocket money. My family has offered to pay 1/3 of the costs, and I would like to fundraise the remaining through GoFundMe and by selling some old books. The funds obtained from this will be able to pay for the airfare and the accommodation.
It is a 3-week program, which includes helping communities, sightseeing breath-taking locations and developing new skills.
Some of the highlights include:

· Snorkelling at the Playa Negra
· Visiting Charles Darwin Station
· Trekking to Sierra Negra Volcano
· Experiencing the Otavalo market
· Visiting Machu Picchu
