Gaby's STEM Camp Adventure

I'm raising money for a STEM camp at the University of Denver, this year the theme is STEM Island. I will be exploring the fields of engineering, medicine, and CSI, while imagining life as an explorer on an island that hasn't been inhabited for 500 years. This program is through NYLF Envision. I was also recommend by my school counselor. I will stay for 6 days and nights, I will stay in the dorms as well, and do hands on science activities. My school counselor nominated me and at first I was kind of like ehhhhh....do I really want to do that? Then I did some research and now I really want to go.  I started having an interest in science after I did Girls In Science at my school through walking mountains. We did a unit on cooking last year and this year we did forensics. I didn't really know what to think, when I came home and my mom was like "Oh, by the way your counselor nominated you for this science camp thing.", I was like "Oh, Okay???",  and then she said "Do you want to go?" I told her to let me think about it for a while. Now I am super excited about it as you can probably tell because....I'm starting a GoFundMe account! So if your out there I'd love it if you could donate anything. Wait....hold on..sorry I should tell you about money too, the camp is 2,000 dollars, my goal is to raise AT LEAST $500. Also if you do donate could you include your email? In return for donating, I will send you email/blog updates that I am going to make of my entire experience at camp. In addition this GoFundMe page, I am also going to be raising money by holding a bake sale or two, and doing extra work, like pet sitting, dog walking, heavy work to help out with projects. So if I live near you and you need someone to walk your dogs or pet sit than I would be excited to do that!
