Help Me Get My Business Going!

I recently got out of an underpaid retail job and am trying to start building my own freelance English tutoring business. It's been hard, though; I've had some setbacks due to health issues and winter break, as well as not having a license and needing to rely on public transit (not to mention supplies don't always come cheap). This, however, isn't meant to be my end goal; I want this to be the way I make a living up to and while I re-enroll back at my alma mater of the University of Maryland to pursue my Masters degree! I understand that this, too, will take money and effort, which is why I'm asking for help and support.

Of the funds I'm asking for, I'll need $300 by January 1st in order to pay for a county bus pass and a Metrorail pass to get around my area for the month; that will allow me to travel to lessons in the area, as well as to promote myself through word of mouth and posted fliers. The rest of the funds will go to supplies for lessons, fares and passes for upcoming months, and tuition for when I re-enroll at school (hopefully this coming fall :fingers crossed:). Having this support will mean so much to me and I'll be eternally grateful.
