Justice For Shannon

I never thought I'd be creating a GofundMe account in honor of a family member. My heart is breaking as I write this. This past week, on Tuesday, April 3rd 2018, we tragically lost our beloved Shannon Kalia Chu. She died at the hands of her husband and we pray for her to have justice! This was not suppose to happen. Everyone has their day to pass, but no one deserves to go in a tragic way. Certainly not at the hands of somebody who is suppose to protect you. This woman had such an amazing impact on anyone and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She lit up the darkest of rooms. Her gorgeous green eyes made you want to stare into her soul endlessly. And her  laugh was contagious. She  has a saying on her Facebook page stating... "NO beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart". I believe that to be true and have  found that goodness in her.  I remember the first time meeting her, she was so welcoming and it felt like I'd known her for years. I remember how proud of her children she was and she made sure to express that that every time  I saw her. I can't say enough how genuinely beautiful her soul was. I pray for strength for her children, her mother, her sisters and all those affected by her loss. Today and  everyday we will continue to celebrate her life. Celebrate her smile. Celebrate  our memories with her and carry her in our hearts . Our dear Shannon we are thankful to have been a part of your life and so blessed to call you family. We will never forget you. This world isn't going to be the same without you, but we know you're going to be a force to be wrecken with up in the sky. We'll love you forever. 

During this most difficult time, we thank you all for the love and support you have shown us. Because of how unexpected this tragedy is, we are reaching out in hopes of helping Shannon's family lay her to rest and provide care for her two beautiful
children.
