My father in law has stage 4 cancer and the doctors have given him only a few months. His one wish is that he can see his son, granddaughter and 3 great - grandchildren one of which he has never met. Money is too tight to be able to find the funds especially with so many new prescriptions totalling well over 1300 per month. I know it is a bad time of year but this man gave all his life and has a heart of gold help me make his wish come true. This money will be used to send his family to New Brunswick as he is too sick to travel.+ Read More
first I would like to thank all of the people who donated, supported events or/and sent prayers. Thank you. Although Jim did not get to see his great grandchildren he did get to see his grand daughter and son. David and I got there on December 5th and Jim lost his fight December 8 surrounded by his wife, daughters and son. He will be missed by all who knew him. Although a quiet man he spent his life giving to others. Thank you everyone.
Jim is very touched by all the donations and well wishes. He does know of everyone donating and wishing him well and would like to thank everyone. He is back home for a while and is being cared for there. We hope to see him soon as he is sleeping a lot and has a hard time talking due to his difficulty breathing. Please share this fund me link so we can update all his past students, colleges, friends and Aucoin family members. Thank you everyone we are so greatful to everyone for their support.
Jim Aucoin went into the hospital yesterday November 9th to see if they could help get the swelling down in his legs. He is still fighting just a setback at this time. Thank you to all who have donated and those who will. We are still a ways from being able to get down to New Brunswick in time but we are praying it will happen. While living in Red Lake Jim did so much for his community. Please help us show him how much we appreciated all he did.
