Hello, my name is Esteban.
Last Friday, May 17th 2019, my car got broken into while I was performing at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. Among the things that were taken were a Memphis Precision Bass Copy, MacBook Air, Focusrite 2i2 with Headphones and Condenser Mic, A flute, a flute chart book, a book on DIY marketing for musicians, and other small things such as notebooks with aspirations and doodles, my charger, etc.
Look, I’m not one to ask for money but it’s been a very hard couple months emotionally and financially and I use all those items listen on top on an every day basis to track demos for my band and also to record other groups. It’s my portable work station and without it, I simply cannot work, it would also take a while to recover all my gear as I have to pay off for some of the gear that was jacked.
As of today (5/21) I came to the police station but I was given news to not hold my breath if they find something. I don’t live close to the OC to make an effort to find my items, I have my laptop on my “find my Mac” app and haven't gotten a signal yet. I’m sad, frustrated, disappointed in my lack of care, and just feeling a little hopeless. But I have to preserve myself and stand strong, I’m hoping you can be a friend, regardless if I know you or not, if we wrote a song together or had a drink, maybe shared a laugh or a good time. I deeply appreciate the effort and if I can personally hug you for whatever you give, I would. This is an incredibly wack situation and I don’t wish it upon any aspiring artist. So here’s my attempt to be hopeful.

-Bass has a distinguished “Crooks” Signature on the head, it has flat-wound stings and has a guard on it...also in a hard case
-Laptop has a couple of Alaska Stickers in the bottom of it
- all the smaller items are in a Black Jansport Backpack with a tiny finger sized hole on the bottom of the bag.
