Skin removal surgery

You all know my story... Bariatric surgery in October, 2015. With extreme weight loss comes extremely loose skin. I have approval from my insurance to get it removed via surgery, but that comes at a cost.

I received the phone call today. You’re approved for surgery! Hooray!! You have a $3,000.00 deductible and a 20% co-insurance, how would you like to pay for that? Deflated.

So now I’m reaching out... something VERY hard for me to do. But as a friend said, I have a tribe and its time for me to lean on them. Surgery is tenatively scheduled for 2/23.

So here I am, asking for help to change my life. The extra skin restricts me so much and has medical implications. Without the skin i can work to inspire more people and gain confidence I lack sometimes. I’ve worked too hard to let skin hold me back from what comes next in my life. My workouts would be able to be amped up to the next level without this skin. But really... the discomfort and rashes that the skin causes would be removed.
