Support Debbie's Cancer Battle

Debra Andell, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and best friend needs our help. Debbie has spent her entire life caring for her family such as her brother who recently lost his battle with cancer. We would like the chance to do the same for her now that she is in the fight of her life.
After years of witnessing her brother lose his battle with lung cancer and advocating to find the best care for him while he was fighting she finds herself fighting her own battle with stomach cancer.
In January of 2017 Debbie began having symptoms and she knew something was wrong. Despite many doctors appointments she remained undiagnosed until July 2017. Her GI doctor did a routine endoscopy and unfortunately the biopsy came back as a rare form of gastric cancer called Signet Ring Cell Adenocarinoma (Linitis Plastica). The prognosis for this cancer is poor. After a second opinion with the doctors at PennMed they gave her some hope. Three days after her first appointment they schedule her for surgery to remove her entire stomach in hopes to remove the cancer entirely. Unfortunately there was evidence of cancer in the lymph nodes and in the margins. This required her to begin aggressive chemo and radiation in an attempt to stop the progression of this aggressive cancer.
Due to recovery from surgery and treatment she has had to take an extended leave from her route for the United States Postal Service. Debbie's paid leave has been exhausted which requires her to pay a higher portion to continue receiving health insurance which covers her traditional treatments. The deductible, co-pays, medication, travel, and general expenses have become more than she can afford as she can not generate any income. The cost of daily items to support nutrition and alternative therapies are extremely expensive.
Despite all these obstacles she is determined to win this battle and continue to watch her children and grandchildren grow. Please help her in this fight and know that your prayers and contribution is greatly appreciated.
