Leslie's Lead Artist set up fund!

Alright, so! If you can't tell so far I'm an illustrator. A little more about me: I'm Black, a woman, queer, a full time flameworker (hard glass blower) and an adult living with autism.  And my dream has been to both complete a graphic novel and do concept art professionally as well.

Luckily, my crew and I have finally decided to pool our talents and put ourselves to use as creators and developers. We've formed 'Dominus Studios' with a few other devs and are working on our very first game using the collective lore we've been building together for nearly a decade. Our strategy-rp is already on its way to creation!

I was instantly voted to be 'Lead Artist'. Which is a pretty big deal and a lot of work. It means I will have to work closely with other artists I'll have to handpick and hire once the time comes and I'll basically be doing 100% of the concept art, design and working with those tasked with in game rendering.  Alongside that, I'm tasked alone (unless I find a colorist to lighten my load) with a mini graphic novel to accompany the game. Thats a heavy workload and herein lies my problem.

I'm not working with much. I have a used PC that likes to crash as often as possible, I'm working with a dated tablet display (Cintiq 21UX) and if I'm going to be working professionally, I'll need legal art programs (Not to say I'm using illegal ones. I have Sketchbook pro, I need photoshop)

Here's what I need to get the ball rolling

A new PC, allocating $2,000
A Cintiq 27 QHD with Airbrush and art pen $2,900
Full spectrum COPIC markers - $1,650
STAEDTLER ink work supplies - $150
5x Blueline 11 x 17 sketchbooks $150
Epson Perfection V850 pro scanner - $950
WD my book RAID backup - $615
1  SKARSTA desk, IKEA - $270
1 drafting table - $220-$300
1 drafting chair $170
5 Spectrum marker holders - $115
Refurbed 32+ inch monitor - $500
The remaining 800 for programs and education, Annual Photoshop plan (all apps, need Illustrator and PS)

And lastly. $50 for shipping the Cintiw21UX as I'd love to give it, for free, to one of my donors. Especially if they are an artist in need. It was $2500 when I bought it, comes (only, sadly) with the Intuos3 airbrush. No grip or art pen. Still works but aggrivates my carpal tunnels due to the pressure sensitivity being so low.

It'll be my way of paying it forward should I meet my goal. There are a lot of artists out there who can use it and I'd rather it didnt go to waste.

This is such a high goal that I'm going to be matching it as much as I can. Whatever someone donates will be a goal for me to reach and throw into the pot myself. I'll also be doing an Iron Artist challenge. Anything to help me get where I need to be as I know there are people on here with health issues and more-- I'm chasing a dream. A big dream, of course. But its -my- dream.

Any and all help is appreciate. From $1 to $100+, the smallest amount is more than appreciated. The ball gets serious and rolling next summer!
