Jordan's Journey - SCI Recovery
I really want to get in contact with Jordan. Please help me. I am lucky number 2 to get this done in the world. My surgery was 1/20/15 and I am from charlotte nc. As you can imagine the questions I have are unreal. I start PT sometime this week once they get my lungs stabilized and really could use the support. Please help me get in contact.
stay strong you are an inspiration to many
Hey Tough Guy, I hear you're working hard & doing well. You'll stay in my Prayers.
Prayers for you Jordan. I was there once and one of the 3% that walked again even without rehab (1975). Am watching your progress with high hopes. If you need any more encouragement, do reach out to me.
Man Jordan... I'm sooo stoked for you. I don't have a clue what the odds are nor if this is down to your will & determination or the treatment you had. All I can say is that I'm super stoked to hear your progress. I had a mountain bike accident 22 years ago and for about 12 hours thought I was going down your path. Luckily nerves reconnected after the swelling went down... anyway, my story is nothing compared to the severity of your crash. I read this update today and all I can say is that as a fellow lifelong extreme sport enthusiast... can't say how great it was to hear that your hope levels are matching your determination to make the best progress you possibly can. Good Luck, Buddy. tons of people you've never met are watching and rooting for you.
have you had any bowel/bladder/sexual function changes? If so, can you comment?
You are in my prayers Jordan. I know it sounds very twisted, and I"m not saying I understand it, but all things work for the good. I heard about you and the tough path before you, but you seem both driven and determined, and your positive attitude in this time is both inspirational and uplifting to myself and others. Let me encourage you to continue looking forward in confidence!
Jordan, totally awesome video, and very thankful as to how you are progressing. I wish the best to you and your family. I hope the progress continues, I know you are working hard to make it happen.
