John Roy - Helping his family

John Roy passed away on October 14th 2014. He is survived by his wife Bianca and their 4 children. John was a devoted Father and Husband and loved spending time with his family. The purpose of this funding drive is to donate money to his family. It's never easy for a family to deal with the loss of a loved one, but it's a particularly tough time financially for the family. Please help support John's family as they go through this incredibly tough time. All money donated (beyond the 5% that gofundme takes) will go directly to Bianca and his children. John was an incredibly talented artist and worked on nearly every game we made at SOE. He loved making games and was one of the most talented artists we have. He will be greatly missed by his friends here at SOE. I wanted to mention one other thing here. John suffered greatly from depression, and ultimately this horrible disease is what killed him when he took his own life. Depression is a horrible disease that can lead people down a very dark road. John fought this disease hard with his wife Bianca at his side every step of the way and even though he fought it bravely, ultimately he died because of it. Your generosity is going to help with John's 4 kids college funds and many expenses.
