I want my Students to be safe online and excited about learning.
Every year the students at my school look forward to being on the FWE News. They want to be on YouTube. These same kids ask me about how can they make better videos, get more subscribers - and I want to help them. But I also want them to be safe.

Being on the FWE News Motivates them...
Motivating kids to do well in school can be difficult and having something fun like the FWE News makes it so much easier to excite children to come to school and learn.

It also gives me the opportunity to teach them about safety. These kids are online all the time. How many children have tried the cinnamon challenge, the ti-pod, or setting yourself on fire challenge. It's crazy I know. But many follow people on YouTube who ask them to do these types of things.

I want to be able to do three things for my students of which, being in a low income district makes it very difficult. That is why I need your help.

1. I am writing a book that will offer tips and tricks on how to make better videos. It will provide 30 to 50 video ideas and will stress the need to stay safe and be smart online.

2. Provide a set amount of students with basic tools of the trade. A camera, a camera stand - nothing fancy.

3. Possibly provide a after school club where they can meet once or twice a week to create videos in a safe environment.

I am trying to raise the funds needed for the 2018-2019 school year. As well as moving forward, possibly a summer program.

I wanted to give away 100 free books as a way to promote the idea and get students thinking about joining the news crew, joining the club and more.

I estimate printing up the books will cost $1,500 S&H.
An estimated Camera & Stand is $200 each (rough estimate).
Club may require day care after school and would like to cover the cost.
