Future First Aiders: 5 to 500!

Hi! We are Vicki and Kevin Beatty, and five years ago we set up "Vicki Beatty Associates", a HSE consultancy and training provider based in Canterbury, Kent.
We had read an article from the European Resuscitation Council explaining that if children received just 2 hours of CPR training per year, survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest alone dramatically increased. If we taught children first aid, we could actually help to make a difference.
So this year we created "Future First Aiders", a Community Interest Company and training programme to teach children vital lifesaving first aid skills.
We have been providing the training in schools and academies across Kent, funded by business sponsorship. The scheme has been really well received, with 256 children taught so far, and we want to spread the enthusiasm further!
To celebrate our 5th year of trading, we have pledged to provide first aid training to 500 children in 2016. We're calling this: "Future First Aiders: 5 to 500!"
The training costs £2 for each child, which covers course materials and Kevin's teaching time. Each child also receives a certificate on completion of the programme.
