Furniture for Nkwamwasi Dining Hall

In 2015, a team of ~15 colleagues from Siemens CFA went to the small village of Nkwamwasi (close to Kilimandjaro mountain) in Tanzania / Africa for a social project to build a Dining Hall for the local primary school. The main idea behind was that the children of the school would no longer have to eat their lunch outside in the rain and/or cold (which especially during rain season can be quite heavy), but that they will have some shelter. And also, the Dining Hall will/would be used for gatherings of the local community of Nkwamwasi, because there is/was no other suitable location.

Now, after 3 years, the Dining Hall has since long been completed. (While we built the foundation - as you can see in the video attached below - there was a second group of volunteers who built the actual building.) However, so far the Dining Hall has only very little furniture (especially more tables and chairs are needed) and therefore - unfortunately - it is of little use so far.

Therefore, we are now trying to raise some more funds in order to equip the Dining Hall with the needed furniture and thereby enable the community of Nkwamwasi to make real use of it! Your contribution is very much appreciated!

PS: Attached is a picture where you can see that the Dining Hall is still pretty much empty from the inside. Only few chairs and tables are available so far...
