In Memory of Maria Burymski Walker

Yesterday, Maria Burymski Walker age 35, lost her battle with cancer and died peacefully surrounded by her family.   She had been diagnosed 13 months ago with stage 4 stomach cancer.  She put up a valiant fight enduring two different types of chemo treatments and then immunotherapy in an effort to slow the progress of the cancer and allow her more time with her family.  Unfortunately, the cancer spread from her stomach into her bones and lymph nodes. The last several weeks the pain had become unbearable. We are devestated by her loss but are grateful she is no longer suffering. 

Maria was adored by so many. She was kind, energetic, compassionate and adventurous. She easily made friends due to her inclusive and loving nature. She served selflessly in her church and school communities. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, a beloved daughter and sister and a true friend. 

She leaves behind her loving husband Brandon and five beautiful children, Emma 15, Reuben 13, Allyson 10, Eleanor 6 and Leah 4. If you would like to contribute to the family’s needs please use this page to do so. Thank you all for your love and support. May God bless you! 

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 211 Estates Drive, Roseville, CA 95678.
