In the early morning hours of Monday 01/23/17 a fire broke out in the house of the Birmingham-Sullivan family. Kevin and Albert Sullivan were lucky enough to reach safety. Tragically the fire had trapped Angelica and Albert's mother Elizabeth Birmingham in the house leaving her unreachable. When the fire department arrived it was too late and Elizabeth had already succumbed to her wounds from the fire.
The family is overtaken with heartbreak and emotional distress at losing an irreplaceable part of their family.
Kevin has been such a hard working and loving father his entire life doing everything that he can to provide for his family. Albert is a such a sweet boy who has come such a long way in life battling with Type I diabetes & Autism. Angelica is the most kindhearted person I have ever had the joy to know we have grown up together like sisters.
I am asking you to find it in your hearts to pray for this family and to contribute any financial support you can to help Kevin, Albert and Angelica through this difficult time. No one ever wants to ask for a handout but what this family really needs is a hand up after they have been knocked down. The family has no fire insurance or life insurance policy. We are hoping in some way to lessen the stress and financial burden of the funeral-cremation-burial expenses, cost of immediate family travel for the services ( which will be held at a later date) as well as provide a new start for Kevin and Albert to rebuild their life after the house fire claimed all of their possessions. They are wrestling not only their grief but the overwhelming financial burdens left behind by the untimely death of Elizabeth.
