Funeral Expenses For Mr Shoe Shine Man

As most of you know Mr. Edward Gooden " Mr. Shoe Shine Man" passed away November 18, 2018. We are trying to raise money to have a proper funeral for him. All money raised will be given to Richardson Hill Funeral Home for his final expenses. I personally spoke to Patrick Hill the Funeral Home Director at Richardson Hill Funeral Home today 12/4/18 and they are still about $5,000 short for his final expenses. Any donations made here will go to the funeral home or you can take payment directly to Richardson Hill Funeral Home or contact me and I will pick them up and get them to the Funeral Director. Mr. Gooden was a wonderful man and everyone in Texarkana knew him and have at one time had their shoes or boots shined by him at the Electric Cowboy. He touched everyone he came in contact with and was a well known and well respected individual of this community. He was an ordained minister and worked at the Electric Cowboy until it closed and was a long time employee of St Michael's Hospital in Texarkana. If everyone who had ever came in contact with him just gave $5 we could have the proper funeral he deserves. Please feel free to share this and help us get his funeral expenses paid. We need to try to get these funds raised as soon as possible because it has been over two weeks since he passed away
