Funeral Expenses for Lance Bontke
Donation protected
Friends and Family,
I have had the heart breaking and sometimes very painful duty of notifying friends and loved ones that we suddenly lost my brother, Lance Bontke on Friday 4/7/17. I have been touched and blessed to know that Lance had such a positive and helpful impact on the lives of so many people.
Lance tirelessly helped others when they were in need. He was a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Summer Mummers, assisted with the Red Cross, organized community Police Night Out functions in his neighborhood, and would lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need without even a question. I have heard the phrase, "He never met a stranger and he was everyone's friend, whether they wanted him to be, or not!!" so many times in the past few days. Lance was a very giving person even though he himself was disabled.
Our family and friends will be celebrating Lance's life at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, Midland Texas on Wednesday April 12th from 5-7pm and invite everyone who knew Lance to come and share their memories. Lance's final wishes were to be buried next to his grandpa in Plainview, Texas. Our family is asking for support to help grant the final wishes of our beloved son and brother.
God Bless.
