Funeral Expense For Daniel Gobert

We're raising money to help with final expenses for my brother, Daniel Gobert.
He started getting sick over the weekend, and went to urgent care Monday morning. They sent him home after CT scan believing it was just a stomach virus. By Wednesday he was hurting so bad that he returned to the ER. After another CT scan they thought he had gallstones and a blocked bile duct. They scheduled him for an endoscopy on Thursday morning for stent placement, and that's when they discovered he had a massive abdominal infection. They attempted to remove as much of the infection as possible, but he had already went into septic shock. They placed an IV catheter through the artery of his neck to push medication directly into his heart to raise his blood pressure. As well as other medication through multiple different IVs to control heart rate, fever, platelets to help blood clotting, and 5 different antibiotics to fight the infection. Towards the end he developed renal failure, and started vomiting blood. They attempted to sedate and intubate for his body to have a chance to rest and recover, but shortly after his blood pressure dropped again. They pushed 4 units of blood to try to save his life, but with his kidneys not working, all the fluids accumulated in his body to the point his lungs filled, and with no more room for the machine to push oxygen, he unfortunately passed away.
He was only 37 years old with a fiance and 3 young children. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, son, friend, and everything in between. He loved his family and would always put their needs above his own everytime.
