Support for Chloe and Cameron

Donation protected
My older sister Ashley passed away on January 5th of an overdose after a long battle with addiction. She was the mother to two beautiful children, Chloe (9) and Cameron (4). Ashley was a single mother and one of the hardest workers you will ever meet. She sacrificed so much to provide for Chloe and Cammie and make sure they were taken care of.

Although addiction is a complex issue, these children do not deserve to suffer even more. They are being taken in by close family who love them infinitely but were not financially prepared to raise two young children. We will all be contributing what we can, but if you have connected with this story and feel lead to give, anything is appreciated. The funds will be used exclusively for the children, as well as a small amount for funeral costs.

If you have read Ashley’s story and found judgement in your heart, please do your best to understand that addiction is a disease, not a choice. Nearly every person has been affected by it directly or indirectly, and compassion and support is crucial in the recovery process. We know that Ashley is now watching over us, free of her demons. We will never understand why her struggle ended this way, but will spend the rest of our lives trying to help and educate people to prevent other families from having to experience the grief we feel right now.

Love, the Coffman and Shorr families.
