**UPDATE** In just 20 days we have received $9,250 worth of financial donations between GoFundme and direct donations to the family. We can’t thank everyone enough for their help during this time. All donations are being handled directly by Dorothy’s son Robert Young for the payment of Dorothy’s funeral and future headstone.
We are still hoping we can reach our goal of $10,000 with just $750 left to go.
Dorothy was an incredibly bright light in this world and that light isn’t going away. We will continue to honor and remember her in every way that we can. `

On December 3, Dorothy Delmage Young our mother, sister, aunt and friend was diagnosed with stage four triple negative breast cancer. We were shocked to find out it had already began to spread and she was to begin chemotherapy treatments the following week. After one complication after another, Dorothy passed away on December 19, 16 days after her initial diagnosis.
This has been a complete shock to our family, and we are heartbroken that there will forever be an empty seat at our table.
We are hoping to raise funds to cover the unexpected funeral costs including her headstone in the future. All donations will be handled directly by her son Robert Young. Any amount helps.
