Assistance for Gavin's kidney donor

Hi I am Samantha but this isnt about me. I am setting this account up for my sons kidney donor, Lauren.
Let me first tell you about my son, Gavin. He is 16 month old and was born with cross-fused kidneys. We knew they weren't working right even before he was born but he has been very strong and his kidneys have lasted longer than the drs predicted they would. We had a little bit of a hard time finding a donor for Gavin everyone that tried was denied for one reason or another. So thankfully when Lauren started her evaluation I was nervous and expecting the worst but week after week they just gave her more testing to be done and now I finally have the word that she has been cleared to donate her kidney and that surgery will be on the 22nd of this month.
Lauren is my best friend and she really is like one of my sisters, she is always there for me and helps me in any way she can. She is there for my kids as much as she is for me which is amazing and we all love her for it. Now she's making a great sacrifice by choosing to have surgery for my son.
Which leads into why I am setting this up for her. She will be out of work for 1-2 months and she will be getting no pay from her job during this time, so I am hoping to have this help relieve her of the financial stresses so she can focus on getting better. She is just like the rest of us paying rent, utilities, cell phone, car insurance, car payment, food, and most important her 2 dogs that will need their food and monthly meds. Also some to cover her expenses from all her commutes to boston and parking for her testing over the last couple of months and any that follow after surgery.
Lauren would never really ask for help on her own, it is just how she is..... stubborn. So I am putting it out there for her.
She is doing something amazing for my son and I hope to show her just how amazing it truely is. She has helped me so much in my life and I don't think I could ever pay her back for everything she has done for me and my family.
PLEASE help me make her recovery about her getting better and help her not have to stress about her time without income. She isn't a girl to sit and do nothing but I am hoping that with this she wont be so nervous about taking her time to get better instead of rushing back to work and possibly hurting her self.
