Unexpectedly, on May 24, 2017, Michael Hickson went into Sudden Cardiac arrest while driving his wife to work. Due to an extended amount of time without oxygen, Michael suffered an anoxic brain injury. In addition, Michael's suffered a spinal cord injury from the administration of CPR, leaving him paralyzed.
Michael has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 15 years. Together they have 5 children. Michael is a God fearing man, and has a passion for people. We are believing that God will fully restore his life and health.
Although Michael's recovery has been slow, he is progressing. He will require numerous specialists visits and extensive therapy to fully recover.
Because of Michael's size, he has a larger wheelchair. This has made transporting very difficult. A mobility vehicle is needed that will allow Michael to be transported to doctor's visits and therapy sessions.
Please help us reach our goal to purchase a mobility vehicle that accomodates a family of 7.
