HELP BUILD -A -MASJID!!

PLEASE HELP BUILD OUR MASJID & ISLAMIC CENTER AND CONNECTING ALL THE COMMUNITIES IN THE BAY AREA
United Muslim Community Center is proud to annouce that we have almost acquired our deposit goal to help purchase a property adjacent to our current our building. However we need an additional $50,000 that will go towards the deposit, renovations and improvements.
With your help so far we have been able to secure and purchase the property. Now we need your help to build the Masjid as well continue the maintenance. UMC- Bay Area volunteers have worked countless hours all in the Name of Allah so the community has a place of worship within walking distance. Your donations will go strictly to the building the Masjid, renovations and the halal property loan that we were able to acquire through Islamic Funding. Once completed , this place will provide daily Salaat and Jumuah prayers, education, social services to entire community around the Bay Area especially the urban areas of San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Ashland and Unincorporated Alameda County.
We are located in San Leandro, CA which is the hub center between all the cities in Alameda County and the Greater Bay Area in California.
With your support we can build a larger space for our growing community. We will provide children's classes, Ramadan/Eid activities, adult classes and prayer hall, Jumuah Prayer, weddings, funerals and so much more!!.
The lot size is 24,500 sq ft. We will convert the current property into a 2800 sq ft. Masjid and Islamic Center. There will be 50 Parking Spaces and ability to rent out existing Residential property on site.
UMC Bay Area's organziation is led by active community members for the community and we are a licensed 501 (c) 3 non-profit. Our current Board is made up by a diverse group of Muslims whose only desire is to build a Masjid for the community of San Leandro and the surrounding cities of Alameda County.
Our current space at 16661 East 14 St San Leandro is not large enough and therefore we purchased this property to accomodate all of our members. The new place will provide ample room for more women, youth to access our facilities.
That is why we urge you to please help and support the cause to reach this goal. Your donations will go towards our fundraising goal to help do the build out of the property and the current residential home on site.
We have recieved positive support from the Alameda County, City of San Leandro, Neighboring Churches and other non-Muslim congregations. We have already proposed our plans to our Community Development Department in our County.
