Fundraiser for Ward J6 St James's Hospital Leeds

Hello!
I am writing to you all on behalf of my friend Jessica Spoor, who is a sufferer of the genetic lung disease cystic fibrosis. Jessica is turning 30 on the 12th January 2019 and her family are throwing her a party at Banyan, Leeds to celebrate.
Jessica and her family are from Stocksfield, Northumberland and they have already done their fair share of fundraising, having developed the Puffin Appeal charity which set up a respiratory research laboratory in Newcastle Hospitals. Jessica has also previously ran the Great North Run to raise money for the CF Trust.
Jessica is so kind hearted, and would do anything for her family and friends. I've known her since primary school, and she's always had such a strong, positive, and no-nonsense attitude towards CF.
Jessica is a hugely inspirational person who lives in Chapel Allerton Leeds, has travelled the world, graduated from Leeds Met University, worked for Arc Inspirations Leeds and Harrogate. In recent weeks she has had to unfortunately leave her job at Asda as is undergoing assessment for a lung transplant at the Freeman Newcastle.
We are planning a fundraising event to take place at her 30th birthday party, which will be covered by London photographer and blogger Montana Lowery. Money raised at the event will be directly donated to Ward J6 St James Hospital, Leeds.
We are appealing to local businesses as Jessica is a vibrant part of the community, and we want her to know that she has a huge support system in Leeds and Newcastle around her for the years ahead. Hopefully we will receive some prize donations which we can auction off to raise money for Ward J6.
